Association Of Anaesthesia Associates

Association Of Anaesthesia Associates

Venue: Crowne Plaza, Sheffield

Date: 1st - 2nd October 2026

Join us in Sheffield for the 2026 Association of Anaesthesia Associates Conference, a two-day national event combining high-quality professional learning with the warmth, character and energy of Yorkshire. Tickets are available for both days or for Friday only. Thursday will focus on immersive clinical skills workshops, including high-fidelity simulation training and dedicated human factors learning, while Friday offers a dynamic programme of keynote and lecture-based sessions. This conference will be highly relevant and beneficial for Anaesthesia Associates, anaesthetists, Medical Associate Professionals, AHPs, and those both qualified and in training, offering an excellent opportunity to learn, connect and be inspired in one of the UK’s most welcoming and well-connected cities.

Set in the heart of South Yorkshire, Sheffield offers the perfect conference destination — a vibrant, friendly city on the doorstep of the Peak District, with Yorkshire’s renowned hospitality, culture and landscape adding to the experience. Whether you are joining us for the education, networking or the chance to explore the region, this conference promises far more than a standard event.

We are delighted to have secured Ranjit Kirton of The Behaviour Garage and speakers from the Clinical Human Factors Group, founded by Martin Bromiley OBE, with further speakers still to be announced. Their involvement brings an important and thought-provoking focus on human factors, psychological safety, behaviour, culture and the wider conditions that enable teams to perform well and keep patients safe. Expect insightful, relevant and memorable sessions that speak directly to modern anaesthetic practice.

Any student MAPS or currently unemployed MAPs, please get in touch with us to discuss further discounted options (Friday only)

Student AHPs and Nurses can also contact us for special rates (subject to availability).

  • We have partnered with the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Sheffield to secure a discounted rate of £112.
